P440

P440 (P four forty) is a minimalist local multiplayer brawler.

Features:

• 2 - 4 player local multiplayer (LAN) + single player mode
• 4 unique brawler types
• local multiplayer + single player mode.
• homemade music in 11 / 8 (made with BeepBox)
• custom game engine built with Processing

Controls:

• navigate menus with ENTER, ESC, and WASD or arrow keys
• movement with WASD or arrow keys
• dash attack with SHIFT
• special attack with E

Four Fighter Types:

Red:

• dash attack: erupt
  • propels user, leaving behind an explosion
• special attack: fireworks
  • somewhat OP homing ranged attack

Blue:

• dash attack: barrier dash
  • builds a wall at player's location and launches player forward
• special attack: boomerang
  • throws a purple boomerang which does a ton of damage

Yellow:

• dash attack: zip
  • zip forward, paralyzing opponents along the way; can loop around stage and phase through walls
• special attack: zap
  • quick medium-range homing attack

Cyan:

• dash attack: electric burst
  • mediocre dash which leaves behind two paralyzing bolts
• special attack: reek
  • leave behind a noxious gas which infects opponents, dealing damage over time

Install Instructions:

• Windows: extract the zip and run P440.exe (don't take the .exe out of the folder)
